Coolest Gadget Ever
When considering the price, at least.
Was curious about Bluetooth audio, and couldn't get anyone to lend me their Bluetooth earpiece (eww?). Hit up the Best Buy and found a helpful blue shirt who led me to Insignia Bluetooth stereo headphones. $26. Built in rechargeable battery including the charger in the package.
Pair it up to 8 devices supporting either the 2-way profile or the stereo profile. It automatically switches between them as needed. One of each can be connected at a time (so like your phone and your ipod..or for iPhone users, then your iPhone and your netbook)
Has remote control buttons on the earpiece. Play/Pause, next, last, fast forward, rewind, volume up, volume down. Sent back to the current device. Able to start a call from them, especially if phone supports voice control.
I was able to connect to my laptop and stream radio and wander all over the house wirelessly and have audio everywhere. Damn spoiled.
They'll be great at work, where I doubt the cubicle farm will block the signal as I walk to the copier and to bother neighbors.
